about Michael Chelsea:
My main goal in life now is to find a lovely lady to share the rest of my life with. She would always be the most important person in my life, both in good times and in bad times.
I've been on this planet for over half a century now, but I don’t look or feel anywhere near that old. There is no doubt, though, that my greater life experience has given me a welcome level of maturity and a reluctance to indulge in any silly impulsive risk-taking.
My greatest aspiration is to start a family. It's the greatest responsibility in life and one to share equally with your partner.
I'm a great admirer of shy and compassionate women, and have always had a great deal of respect for them. I love their more reserved and thoughtful attitude towards other people and towards life in general. I must admit that I also feel a lot of empathy towards them, because I've always been rather shy myself.
My favourite interests include working with computers, talking to intelligent people, music, sport, travelling, video gaming, reading and TV. I'm a lifelong non-smoker and I absolutely despise all kinds of smoking.
I love suspense, comedy and science-fiction films, such as: The Wicker Man, The Time Machine, Star Trek, The Out-of-Towners and all Monty Python films. On TV, I love documentaries and football and shows like The Simpsons, Alan Partridge, Mr Bean, Ricky Gervais, HIGNFY and QI.
My taste in music is mainly '70s and '80s, but quite varied. I like: Enigma, The Art of Noise, The Police, The Carpenters, ABBA, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Wings, UB40, U2, Clannad, Enya, Kate Bush, Kraftwerk, Michael Jackson, Mud, Mungo Jerry, Nat King Cole, Chris Rea, Minnie Riperton, Blondie, Bobbie Goldsboro, David Bowie, Diana Ross, Sailor, Status Quo, Stevie Wonder, Sparks, The Beach Boys and Jean Michel Jarre.
I'm fun loving, intellectual, liberal and romantic. I'm better in small groups and rather shy when I meet people for the first time, but I'm also very friendly.
I'm a vegetarian, but I would never try to force other people to become vegetarian.
I've suffered from rheumatoid arthritis since about 1998, but I still try to be as active as possible.
